Post Mortem

22.10.06

Just got home from a little post-show libation and wanted to thank everyone that made it out to see the debut performances of "Letters to Liam". I also wanted to thank everyone that couldn't make it out and sent along their best wishes. The kind thoughts were much appreciated and gave me a nice little boost when I took to the stage. This whole writing a new show and putting it on it's feet thing has reminded me why I got into show business in the first place. I love to tell stories and connect with an audience in any way I can. It's that simple. That's the reason I blog, the reason I take pictures and the reason I crack-wise, talk my ass off and sing on stage. It's all a big dialogue really, and I'm glad that there's an audience for it. I'm anticipating a remount of this show at some point, but for now it's lights out and thanks for coming. You've been a great crowd!

I'm so jealous. The ability to take everything inside and throw it all on the stage? Amazing.

The most I can do is write little limericks and insult my husband on my blog.

Of course I saw Eli Wallach.

    I laughed, I cried.

I said "what does she mean, what's Operation Overlord?"

Garry said "there is no way a man that age doesn't know 'who's on first'?"

I laughed, I cried. I hoped you were watching.
