Giveaway: FREE Magazine Subscriptions from Zinio

17.6.13

I'm pretty sure if I wasn't careful I could spend every penny that I make on lattes and magazines.  In recent years I've managed to cut back on the impulse buys but certain publications are must reads.  Right?

I identify with this on a level that is not healthy.

Now, Zinio is stepping in to help you keep up.  With their new Z-Pass you can get three magazines each and every month for only $5 a month! And you can read them from the comfort of ANY of your devices!  You gotta like that!

You know what else you've gotta like? Zinio is offering 10 lucky Miss Tracey Nolan readers a free subscription to the magazine of their choice!  With literally thousands of digital magazines to choose from, you're bound to find one you like can't live without!

All you have to do to be eligible to win is leave a (non anonymous) comment telling me your favourite magazine of all time.  Check back Wednesday, June 19th to find out if you're one of the 10 lucky (randomly chosen) winners.

Thanks for the free stuff, Zinio, you guys rock!

  2. Hi Tracey,
Shelly (my wife of 40 yrs.) is ADDICTED to magazines; engaging in far more than she can ever read! Thankfully, we have SOME living space due to the digital revolution. My fave mag of all time? Surfer magazine, a luxury I rarely indulge in. The photos are definitely the next best thing to being there.

  8. I can't stop laughing at that video! I have a magazine problem that stems back to childhood and a huge stash/fire hazard of Teen Bop and Tiger Beat magazines that took up the entire space under my bed. I love magazines. I do love Vanity Fair... Right now I am making my way through my grandfather's National Geographic magazines. He has every issue from all the way back to the beginning of time. I'm making my way through 1946 right now. I just finished all of his Working Woman (?) magazines from the 80s....awesome stuff there, worth it for the shoulder pads alone.

  9. Boy, have I gone through magazine phases! Trouser Press to Town and Country! Rolling Stone to Ellery Queen Magazine! Sports Illustrated to Hello Canada! If I had to pick just one "desert island" magazine nowadays it would be...Interweave Knits. Or Vogue Knitting. No, I'll stick with Interweave, lots of great articles as well as patterns.

  10. First of all, you should just be in a relationship with a librarian. Seriously, the periodicals in the place, you'd think it was a doctor's office.
I love the New Yorker more than anything. But who has the time to read it cover to cover?? (well me right now I suppose...)
I buy it to look smart when traveling (O magazine is hidden under it...)
My childhood friend Dorothy Crutcher's bathroom was wallpapered in New Yoker magazine covers. Coolest thing ever.
