Happy 4th of July, you wonderful Americans!  I love your jazz, your barbecue, your baseball and most of all, your spirit.  If I could be anywhere right now it would be New Orleans.  If I could be anywhere else?  New York.  See, America?  You've cornered the market on "places I daydream about".  Congratulations!

To celebrate Independence Day, I've got a giveaway exclusively for my American readers courtesy of the good people at UPrinting.com.

All you have to do is leave a comment on this post about your favourite 4th of July memory and you are eligible to win 250 flyers, or nightclub flyers printed on beautiful 14 point cardstock gloss! Comments must be left before midnight on Sunday, July 10th.  The winner will be picked at random.

Flyers like this would be a great thing for anyone out there who is looking to promote a product, an event, a business or even to use an invite for your kids' next birthday party.  The options truly are endless.

Uprinting.com's slogan of "Spread Your Message" is a sentiment I can really get behind.  Thank you very much, UPrinting.com, for allowing me to help one of my wonderful American readers help spread their message!

Get commenting, you guys!  Can't wait to hear all of your 4th of July memories.  Let's say it with FIRECRACKERS!

  1. One year - I was probably around 7th grade - we were driving out to the East coast to visit family who lived there at the time. Because the 4th was on a Sunday that year, our community fireworks had been on the 3rd, so we took to the road the following day. As we drove down seemingly endless stretches of midwest flatlands on the evening of July 4th, we saw many fireworks displays in the distance. Now, nearly twenty years later, that stands out as one of my most memorable July 4th experiences.
